tia and Apex for a high-class sound
The closed four-way in-ear monitor features a dynamic driver for the bass and low-mids as well as three proprietary balanced-armature drivers for the mids, high-mids, and treble frequencies. An integrated passive frequency crossover divides the audio signal to supply the four paths, and the manufacturer specifies the frequency range at 5 Hz to 22 kHz. The completely tubeless design and the sound-shaping chambers of the tia system result in a significant reduction of resonances and distortions as well as enhanced sound quality. The integrated Apex technology also uses pneumatic-interactive ventilation to reduce intra-ear pressure caused by the sealing of the ear canal in order to prevent premature ear fatigue.
