For me it works great

I have it in my (Korean) epiphone the dot guitar with .10 gauge stings. It's a very high quality product, very well made. It's depth do not exactly fits my guitar neck, I think the neck is 43mm. But that's not a real problem.
It enhances sustain noticeably and it's easy to set it. It will take you some time to set the individual height properly but when you're done with that your setup will be great. I did use a caliper to set it with precision and the result is amazing. Do not set all the strings at the same height. If you want to take the full advantage of the product be thorough and precise. String gauge, neck radius and relief are very important. First set the relief, then the nut height, and then the action for better results. Captain obvious here!
It does change the quality of the sound not only sustain wise (a Lot!) but also tone wise (a little). It can slightly open the high frequencies, not in a bad way. You will hardly notice the tone difference when you play through an amp.
I will definitely buy another one

Great quality but needs adjustments.

I thought that this was replacement for a standard nut. The qaulity and the craftmanship is flawless and the sound from the brass nut is pretty cool. It ads sustain and the instrument gets a more bell-like tone.

I bought this for a restoration of a old Hamer Special and needed a new nut because the old one was long gone. Since I don't have the proper tools or skill to make a nut from scratch I choose to try this one out because you can easily change the height of each string with a small screwdriver.

I works ok for trying the guitar out and for light playing but if you play to hard the string will drop out of the very shallow slot and get out of position and out of tune.

To avoid this you have to file the slots deeper and for that you need the proper tools.

It´s a great thing to play around with but you'll probably do better with a standard nut from bone or solid brass.

If you have an instrument with no angle over the nut it will probably work just fine.

Well made

The nut was a bit of a hassle to install, because the slot was ever so slightly too tight. Setup was easy, and the installation increased sustain greatly.

Adjustable nut
Viktor .A Sychev 14.07.2020
Like TonePros T3BT-B this adjustable nut was bought for my future guitar. Two week ago i went to my luthier and asked him which type of nut we will use bone or graphite from GraphTech. He adviced adjustable nut to ease string gauge changing in future without any machining of installed nut.

pros:
- Fast string gauge change
- Brass is more durable than bone or graphite
- Adds ability to adjust strings height from nut and from bridge.

cons:
Will be possibly found in future
