KenkeniThese doum doums or bass drums are covered with two cow skins. Traditionally, there are three sizes: Kenkeni, Sangba and Djunumba. The doum doum is mainly used as bass drum accompaniment of the djembe. The doum doum is the "heartbeat" among the drums.
