Ticks all the boxes
Bought these as a present for my son who wanted headphones which cut out the distraction of office chatter, allow him to listen to his music without distracting others, and comfortable to wear for long periods, and compact enough to be carried in his bag to work.
The AKG K-182 does all that. Sound isolation is impressive and the sound quality far, far in advance of anything else he has tried. They are comfortable enough for you almost forget you are wearing them, and the folding design aids portability. My son reports that the "headphones are wonderful, they block the sound of students talking perfectly", and that his colleague now wants a pair. They deliver excellent quality sound from his music stored on his Nexus6 smartphone. The only downside is that his (expensive) earbuds now sound terrible in comparison.
Delivery was prompt and the transaction up to Thomann's usual excellent standards

Very good!
Pretty flat frequency response.
Good reference headphones for monitoring, composing or mixing.
I'm no DJ so I can't say if they will be loud enough to use in a club.
They are foldable and come with a velvet bag.
Cable is detachable but is 3 meters long, so not the best for using on portable players or something like that.
You can get shorter cables for cheap on eBay though, so that's alright, but I just wish AKG would include a shorter cable in the box along with the long cable.
I wasn't expecting to like the sound of these headphones so much to be honest: I'm not the biggest fan of AKG sound signature in general.
I got them in a bundle and was planning on giving them away to someone else at first, but after trying them I honestly like them very much.
All frequencies are just right and for fun music listening, I just push the bass in the player EQ and it's a banger.
For the price, they are good reference headphones and they feel very comfortable to wear.
They are also quite small and portable too.

An amazing difference
I use the headset as an auxiliary tool for composing and mixing music. Still, it's an amazing relief when I put this headset on my head. So far, I have used the AKG K240 MkII (much lower bass and total quieter handset), much more expensive FOCAL proffesional (cast money, no bass power, unpleasant sound that does not have much to do with the actual mix).
The most interesting thing is that the first AKG and FOCAL I was paid for more than twice at price, so I expected from the current ones average quality for so little money. I made a mistake, to my luck.
I warmly recommend these headphones for long and comfortable composing and mixing, do not be afraid of low prices, not a latch.
Some people mention that they are not isolated/closed enough, but I do not work at the factory, so they are quite isolated while some musicians are playing around me. Maybe the thing is that I'm not doing loud - metal music :)

Good cans for DJ use
I use these headphone to DJ with, and they sound great. Much more bass than my old Pioneer ones. Comfort is also nice, no real pressure points and the padding keeps them comfortable even when only putting them over one ear.

Great pair of headset for budget needs
I got this pair or headphones for my home recording studio. I mainly use the for recording and also mixing. When recording, these headphones to not bleed into the mic, even at higher volumes, the build quality is very good and the noise canceling works great. They are very comfortable (at least on my head) and I can use them for hours straight without feeling any sort of discomfort of fatigue. The sound quality is great, you get a very balanced sound and with enough low end to satisfy your needs. It's quite a great pair of headphones for this price range. I highly recommend them!

Cable broke.
I can't wear them too long as my ears starts to hurt, but they are pretty good for isolation.

Good noise cancelling and sound
Despite a not so comfortable design, these headphones are the right answer for those who wants to study music without all that noise surrounding you. The sound is well balanced, I use AKG K182 during my rehearsal sessions or just to listen some studio stuff and it's just the best quality/price product I've tried so far, IMHO.
Especially suggested for drummers, during studio or rehearsal sessions.
