A 60 ans j'avais décidé d'apprendre le violoncelle. J'ai donc acquis un instrument d'occasion auprès d'un luthier avec tout ce qui va avec (colophane, archet, housse etc ..). Ayant maintenant plus d'expérience, j'ai voulu tester une colophane de qualité supérieure. Le résultat est tout bonnement incroyable : l'archet "surfe" sur les cordes avec une très grande régularité dans l'accroche. Le son est transformé et les nuances ont un excellent rendu. Ma prof de violoncelle a été bluffée par cette colophane et va acquérir la même. Je sais aussi ce qu'il me reste à faire : remplacer mon jeu de cordes vieillissant par des cordes premium. Auprès de qui ? Thomann, bien évidemment. !
PS: le premier envoi de cette "Cecilia Cello Rosin Solo" était arrivé en piteux état suite à un conditionnement, à l'origine, défectueux par le fabricant. Mais Thomann a procédé à son remplacement. Bravo à eux et merci pour leur réactivité.

Eins vorweg: Meine Bewertung dieses Kolophoniums ist rein subjektiv. Ich bin kein Profimusiker, sondern "nur" ein begeisterter Hobbycellist und demzufolge kann ich manche Aspekte wahrscheinlich nicht ausreichend beurteilen.

Eindeutig kann ich jedoch einen klanglichen Unterschied zwischen diesem Kolophonium und meinem bisher verwendeten Pirastro Kolophonium wahrnehmen. Das hätte ich so deutlich nicht erwartet - schließlich könnte man meinen, es sei ja beides letztendlich nur Harz, was könne da schon so verschieden sein....

Natürlich ist Klang auch eine subjektive Sache (ich habe mal einen Profiviolinisten gefragt, den Preis meiner Thomann-Anfängergeige zu schätzen und er tippte auf 2500 Euro... knapp daneben!) - mir persönlich gefällt das Cecilia Kolophonium besser als das Pirastro. Muss man aber wohl ausprobieren und wahrscheinlich ist es auch vom Instrument abhängig. Jedenfalls gibt es einen hörbaren Unterschied und nicht bloß reine Esoterik.

Negativ fällt mir die hohe Bruchanfälligkeit auf. Beim Pirastro-Kolophonium ist wenigstens ein Tuch drum gewickelt, damit man nicht jedes Mal bei Auspacken etwas abbricht. Das ist beim Cecilia nicht der Fall und man muss echt höllisch aufpassen.

Der kleine "Kamm" der dabei ist, um das Kolophonium besser am Bogen zu verteilen, ist ein nettes Zubehör. Keine Ahnung, ob das wirklich einen Unterschied macht - wahrscheinlich eher nicht.

Fazit: Wer mal ein paar Euro übrig hat, sollte dieses Kolophonium mal ausprobiert haben.
