Very useful with a mobile/tablet

I use it to rehearse at home with an iPad (with Bias FX).
Very compact, very good quality.
Sound is OK for the size, price and use case.
The controls are a bit awkward, but one gets used to it.
What I don't like is the location of the ports - headphone and instrument are on the opposite sites and they should go in the same direction - to me! Effectively I am always pulling the one then the other side and it falls of the table. I am planning to buy a short audio angled male to female, just to solve this.

Perfect practice interface

Easy to use, good quality interface. I could not hear a difference to an UA Apollo - x, although i don't use the headphone monitoring directly on the JAM+
The BiasFX package that is included takes a bit getting used to, but it works perfectly fine with Garage band or any other DAW of your choice.

g
wish it would work
gyuri 09.12.2018
second jam+ I had, both became faulty with less than 2 hours of use. I absolutlely can't recommend it. I wish it would work because it's a great little thing, but something must have gone very wrong if 2 devices become useless with the same error: it stops playing any audio and only gives a high pitch loud noise, no matter what you connect it to (iPad, Mac), even without a guitar connected. Shame...

Edit: sorted it out with Apogee directly, works fine now. Minus one star for the hassle

Fast and reliable

Literally Plug&Play, I'm using it a lot lately on a Mac environment.
I started to use it on GarageBand and switched to Logic Pro X --> no problem whatsoever.
Working well, does the job (no more, no less), the distortion mode is not the feature of the century (using a bass though, it perhaps sounds better with a guitar or with a mic).
I recommend it.
