A light weight amplifier, a lot easier to lift than anything else i have.

I play guitar, also pedal steel. Mainly use fender valve amps for guitar, and peavey or a roland cube 80 for steel. All got a bit too heavy for me now, im 70 years old. So the main reason for getting this Quilter is its light weight. Pat Quilter has managed to get a lovely feel to the amp, and you can get beautiful full sparkley tones by blending the e.q.I play mainly clean, touch of reverb, use tremolo sometimes. You can get just the sound your looking for, even the steel sounds good. Both channels on the amp can be easily switched using the footpedal. I like the amp, it is more than capable of almost any style of music. A really decent sounding amp. I dont think many guitarists would seriously think its got valves in it though. You can tell difference straight away. Quite loud, it feels to me about 50w. Thats good for me, i think its a great amp.
