ich habe eine Sopran-Uke für meinen 5-jährigen Sohn gesucht. Die Anforderungen im Grunde recht simpel: einigermaßen stimmstabil, brauchbare Saitenlage, bundrein.
Die erste Uke, eine Cascha Premium Mahagoni hatte war nicht bundrein, dazu eine zu hohe Saitenlage. Habe daraufhin 3 weitere Ukes bestellt und ein regelrechtes Shoot-out in der 50€ Preisklasse veranstaltet.
Am unteren Ende der Preisskala (29€) eine Harley-Benton Kahuna S-Turtle, in der Mitte (44€) diese Baton Rouge UR11 smile und etwas teurer (69€) eine Baton Rouge V2S-sun.
Ergebnis: nur die BR UR11 bot ab Werk eine brauchbare Saitenlage und Intonation. Bei allen anderen Ukes wäre vorher nochmals ein Gang zum Gitarrenbauer erforderlich, um daraus ein gut bespielbares Instrument zu machen. Schade dass hier an der Endkontrolle so sehr gespart wird.
Aus 50€ werden somit schnell 100€ oder mehr...
