Shortly to me. I've been mixing bands for 28 years and I've done the complete development of the Livemischpulte.
The following analogue consoles are my own: Soundcraft 8000 56/8/2, Allan & Heath GL 2800 32/8/2, 2 x A & H Wizard 16: 2 + ample high quality outboard.
I regularly work for other rental companies as front office support on all current digital and analogue consoles and regularly attend training courses for digital consoles.

For a long time I wanted to buy a digital console, but I have never really gotten warm with irgenwas: I did not like the sound (Yamaha), the service (ILive because I miss the Auxregeler), too unreliable (SD) or I just found you Too expensive (SC48 / Venue / VI / CL).
Until now, I do not understand why a lot of manufacturers are packaging your consoles so oversimply that you can not take your console with tape production (eg Midas Pro 2, Avid SC 48).

Well, what remains?
Roland, does not feel well for me and is anything but Riderfest. Resale moderately.
Presonus so not mine at all and no digital stagebox.
Digico SD9 Red Snapper cool desk, but somehow I already had too much stress with SD consoles. But in the narrowest choice.
VI1 long time my favorite. Sophisticated concept with the digital stagebox, but huge pack size. With the Stagebox beyond the 20000 euros.

And the X32
For a long time I did not look at them, because the wrong name was on the desk. Until a club suddenly had one before me. There should be an M7CL stand which however at short notice had to be exchanged. OK new desk. After 3 minutes I felt good about it. From the sound as you would expect from a desk. So, all in all, positively surprised. That was the state of November 2012.

Then I began to ponder. At 4500 euro (desk / case / stageboxes / core) you can not really make much wrong or lose in a resale.

So then times with the Bäh ringer. Had it from Midas the same desk without the Behringeraufdruck, I would have also paid 500 euros more.
Since Jan 2013 I own my own X32 with 2xS16 stageboxes.
In the meantime, I have made 30 individual events and a 5-week festival (3-9 bands a day), including Uferlos Freising or the main stage of the Kaltenberger Ritterspiele with it and I am just thrilled.
The X32 runs when it has 36 degrees in the shade or 96% humidity. It sounds like I do not miss anything at all. The Digital Multicore works simply, so very simply.
I have analog inserts on the desk which I can grind everywhere (eg feedback suppressor for choirs or acoustic instruments). Which of the expensive consoles can do that?
The effects are great, easy to operate and feel familiar. The freely definable control panel with 3x4 potentiometers and 3x8 buttons contributes to this. For me, a highlight of this desk that also makes a touchscreen superfluous.
And now the absolute high light - the IPad remote control.
With the Juliupdate, almost all operating possibilities are now also available on the IPad. Also delay times, groups / DCA.
Shortly at a company event? No space for the FOH in the audience? No Bock Multicore to pull? Shit on it, desk on the stage, rest with the IPad.
Musicians who do not know what they want on the monitor? You stand by and make it as you would like to have it yourself. Hit rate 96%.
With 2nd man on stage 50% faster soundcheck. Even faster than with a monitor, as you can move on the stage.
I've only seen a similar application with Yamaha so far. Eg Midas and Soundcraft are light years removed from it. Avid has none.

The iPad application runs so well and is so easy to use that I've pre-ordered an X32Rack.

Sounds kinda stupid that I compare the X32 permanently with consoles like the VI or SC 48, which have nothing to do with each other. But for me, the X32 plays in the same class. I tried to find the horse foot and I can not find it.
Every foreign technician was skeptical, but interested and convinced after the show. It was similar to me. I think the X 32 will appear in the middle of the next segment more and more Raider.
If the desk would be 2000 euros more expensive it would still be favorable.
And even if it has ripped up the hoof after 3 1/2 years (3 years warranty) its money loosely played.
Many of the things that I wanted at the beginning have come with the updates or I just had not found them yet.

There are only small things on my wish list. I would like a multiband compressor for the sum and a feedback suppressor for my cabaret / headset and choirs. But otherwise everything is in it.
Damn I'm a BehringerFan how could that happen!
