Condenser Microphone

This high-quality, universally applicable condensation microphone impresses with an ideal price / performance ratio. The characteristics of the MC 930 are the large transmission range of 40-20,000 Hz and a noise voltage separation of 71 dB. The MC 930 is ideal for recording choral, orchestral and solo instruments. Due to the switchable pre-attenuation of 15 dB, it is also ideally suited for use at very high sound pressure levels.

The switchable depth reduction with 6 dB / octave at 250 Hz compensates the close-up effect. Together with the WS101 windscreen, the MC 930 can be used as a microphone for vocal applications and as a microphone. The MC 930 works on a phantom power of 11 - 52 V and can therefore also be used in live as well as in installations. Due to its frequency-independent cardioid characteristics, the MC 930 has an excellent directivity in conjunction with high backward cancellation. Not only does it become a first-rate tool in the studio, it also makes it possible to use it with sound reinforcement, where excellent sound and maximum feedback safety are essential. With an MC 930 microphone pair, ideal stereo recordings can be used in the XY or ORTF method. Therefore, the MC 930 is also available as a stereo set with two matching microphones and useful accessories in a sturdy plastic case

very good value

This microphone is very good. I used it for several recordings and I had the chance to compare it with the very expensive Neumann U87 and the MC930 defended himself very proudly. It has a sound with personality, but still very balanced.
Highly recommended

sparkling clarity

adding this microphone to my studio is a real treat with a sparkling clarity and warmth of sound and my drums, cymbals and percussion, strings and piano have all been greatly enhanced on all my recordings. It is both sensitive and full of depth. I would recommend this as a wonderful addition. Light weight and sturdy clip worked well in the use as an overhead extended from my mic stand.
