Sehr angenehm über mehrere Stunden zu tragen. Für Klarinetten ohne Gurt-Öse liegen zwei kleine Lederstreifen bei, die über den Daumenhalter geschoben werden und in die der Gurt eingehakt wird. Ich benutze den Gurt für mich. Wenn man länger spielt ist es sehr hilfreich, wenn nicht das ganze Gewicht auf dem Daumen lastet. Früher wurden die Töne unsauber, wenn ich die Hand verkrampft habe. Die elastische Schnur gibt genügend Bewegungsfreiheit, ist aber trotzdem entlastend. Der Gurt eignet sich gut für Daumenhalter ohne Öse.
