It works as expected!
Folkie_Bear 22.10.2021
I just plugged it into my Boss Cube Street II and it just works out of the box. I can edit footswitch functions/effect types/etc of my amp and stream music from my phone.

I don't understand why Bluetooth component is not integrated into the amp and I have to order 50 EUR component and assemble it. Even the retail price of a Bluetooth chip is max 5 EUR.

A great optional extra

This Bluetooth module is needed if you’d like to edit your Boss devices (Katana, GX-100, etc) from an iPad/phone without crouching over. I’ve a bad back so don’t like editing parameters crouched over or on the floor and this device makes life easier. It pairs well and is easily installed, I’ve had no issues. Takes a few moments to connect in Boss’ Tone Studio app but after that it’s seamless whilst editing the patch. If you switch to a different patch it’ll take a few moments again to load. I think it’s worth it for convenience’s sake.

Difficult.
Peter R. 438 07.08.2023
Bluetooth music streaming was good as soon as I attached the little thing, but.
Problems downloading the app, Google wouldn't let me have it, reason is beyond me.. So I had to reactivate my old phone, got the app OK, but no connection between old phone (old is one year old) and Bluetooth editor❓
Almost a full week of messing with this thing.
I usually have no problems doing this sort of work.
my nephew repairs commercial I T systems, he had same problem.
This 'thing' is not recommended by me.
Got music via this, but only for a few weeks. Big problems, not reccomendid.

Turn the LOCATION on!
Hrks 18.03.2022
After the first unninstall of the app and several (many) failings to pair the Android app to the BT MIDI protocol via the SC2 app, i've rememebered to TURN ON THE LOCATION on my phone! It operated flawlessly after that. Let's hope it stays that way. 51 euro for a BT adapter sure ain't cheap.
