Sehr gut für Einsteiger

Ich hatte schon Erfahrung auf dem Bass und habe meinen Horizont nun noch auf die E-Gitarre erweitert. Ein gewisses Grundwissen war also schon vorhanden. Darüber hinaus erklärt das Buch gut und einfach die Grundlagen in Sachen Akkorde und Rhythmus. Nach jedem Kapitel kommt eine Übungsdoppelseite, auf der man sein Wissen noch einmal festigen kann. Obwohl ich auf diese Übungen größtenteils verzichtet habe, hat mir das Buch bei den meisten Akkorden sehr gut geholfen. Neben dem Akkorschema gibt es immer Tipps zu Handhaltung und Spielweise. Damit erlernt man immerhin schon einmal die wesentlichen Grundlagen. Zur Vertiefung stehen dann noch weitere Bücher des Autors zur Verfügung.

Als Total-Anfängerkurs ist das Buch gut gemacht, auf den ersten Seiten geht es flott voran.

Inzwischen benutze ich es kaum noch. Es stört mich die massive Selbstbewerbung/-vermarktung des Autors. Es ist mE eben auch nur eine und lange nicht die beste Gitarrenschule der Welt.
Frech finde ich außerdem, dass es immer nötig ist, ein anderes Buch zukaufen zu müssen, zu dieser Anfängerschule das Songbook für schlappe 21,95 , später dann das E-Gitarrebuch und so weiter.

Ich würde das Buch und auch das Songbook nicht wieder kaufen und es auch nicht empfehlen.
Besser ausführlich erst im Internet informieren, es gibt unglaublich gut gemachte Text- und Videoseiten.

Wunderbar geschrieben, locker flockig und doch zielführend. Man hat ein gutes Gefühl beim Lernen und versteht was gemeint ist. Es kommt sehr persönlich (trotz Lehrbuch) rüber, überhaupt nicht trocken. Es gibt gute Hilfen, Schwierigkeiten werden beim Namen genannt und Lösungen angeboten. Besser ist nur noch ein guter Gitarrenlehrer aus Fleisch und Blut. Wenn der nicht da sein sollte ist dieses Buch für mich die beste Alternative. Kaufen!

Das richtige Lehrbuch für Anfänger

Habe mit zwei Anfängern anhand dieses Buches das Gitarrenspiel gelehrt. Da recht schnell die A-, D-, E-, und G-Akkorde erlernt werden, können so auch recht schnell einfache Kinder-/Weihnachtslieder eingeübt werden. Das führt zu raschen Erfolgserlebnissen und verhindert, dass Anfänger in der ersten Frustphase ("Das schaffe ich nie...") die Gitarre wieder in die Ecke stellen. Das Buch ist gut und anschaulich aufgebaut und ist empfehlenswert zum Unterricht, aber auch zum Selbststudium.
