Ich betreibe seit über 50 Jahren eine "Mobile Diskothek" im Nebengewerbe und begrüße den heutigen Trend zur Minimierung der Beschallungs- und Beleuchtungsanlagen genauso wie die Möglichkeit,, das Equipment überwiegend auf Akkubetrieb umzustellen.

Zum Laden aller Akkus vor einer Veranstaltung habe ich mir den Steckdosenturm gekauft, da meine bisherigen Lösung (Kabeltrommel und USB 6 Port Power Supply) mittlerweile zu wenig Anschlussmöglichkeiten bot und auf der Bühne auch kein Hingucker war..

Der "Socket Tower 8-Way" von Brennstuhl in mattschwarzer Farbe ist ein "Eyecatcher", sehr robust und doch schlank im Design. Die acht Schutzkontakt-Steckdosen lassen sich dank der 45°-Anordnung problemlos gleichzeitig nutzen. Zwei Schuko-Dosen bestücke ich mit USB-Netzteilen und zusammen mit den vier separaten USB-Buchsen des Turmes lade ich meine Akkuleuchten und Powerbanks gleichzeitig auf. Durch den Einsatz von "2-Way-Splittern" lassen sich die Anschlussmöglichkeiten nochmals erweitern, ohne dass der maximale Anschlusswert des Turmes (3680 W) auch nur annähernd erreicht wird.

Aber auch im Bühneneinsatz überzeugt der Steckdosenturm. Bei mehrtägigen Veranstaltungen betreibe ich die Eventbeleuchtung lieber im Netzbetrieb, um nicht zum Wechseln der Akkus in die Dekorationen einzugreifen. Hier lässt der Turm mit seinen Anschlussmöglichkeiten (siehe oben) keine Wünsche offen und dank des Ein-/Ausschalters ist die Beleuchtung bei Nichtnutzung stromlos zu schalten. Im Bühneneinsatz wäre ein längeres Anschlusskabel von Vorteil und bei größeren Bühnen wohl zwei Tower sinnvoll.
Fazit:
Mit seinem hohen Anschlusswert, den vielfältigen Anschlussmöglichkeiten und dem tollen Design schon nach dem ersten Einsätzen für mich unentbehrlich.
