Als Hobbymusiker habe ich mir eine Renaissance Laute gekauft und dazu die Renaissance Lute Chord Bible. Grifftabellen finde ich für einen Gitarristen recht hilfreich, und für einen Neueinsteiger ohne Lautenerfahrung ist es auf Grund der Stimmung der Laute für den Einstieg gut die ersten Akkorde ohne ständiges Umrechnen zur Hand zu haben. Aus den Akkorden lassen sich schnell Phrasierungen und Zupfmuster entwickeln. Erste Erfolge sind immer wichtig.
Es ist vielleicht kein Werk für erfahrene Lautenisten, aber für einen Umsteiger von der Gitarre sehr zu empfehlen.
Leider findet man wenig Notenmaterial für die Laute, meist Bearbeitungen für Gitarre.

d'un point de vue harmonique les accords sont justes mais peu usuels voire carrément exotiques
on dirait une suite de positions calculées par logiciel
à se demander si le gras qui a pondu ça ne l'a pas transposé pour la mandoline, le banjo, etc, histoire de rentabiliser le truc
en tout cas ce n'est pas fait par un luthiste
pour le même prix on trouve d'excellentes méthodes
à éviter ++

A must purchase for a lute player

I am a self taught beginner lute player who has been struggling from time to time with getting to know my intrument properly. This book has helped me tremendously and opened up the secrets of the neck of the lute for me in a whole new way. I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone who is just starting to play the lute!
