Der Alleskönner?

Lange hab ich nach dem passenden Mikro fürs Homestudio gesucht - nach einem Alleskönner, der nicht gleich >300€ kostet.

Ich schreibe erstmal zusammen, was meine Anforderungen waren und wie gut sich das Mikro in den verschiedenen Disziplinen schlägt. Generell sollte man im Hinterkopf behalten, dass das Mikro "nur" 250€ kostet und man hier kein High-End Gerät erwarten darf.

Meine Anforderungen:
1. Voiceovers oder Chats (Discord/Teamspeak):
großartig, ich nutze das Mikro mit einem Voice-Filter (Nvidia Broadcast - zum eliminieren von Hintergrundgeräuschen) und die Qualität ist wirklich gut. Zudem merkt man kaum einen Qualitätsunterschied bei variierendem Abstand zum Mikro (bis zu 1m). Natürlich ist ein sm7b klanglich nochmal ein kleines Stückchen besser, allerdings auch noch eine gute Ecke teurer.

2. Gesang
Auch hier kann sich das Ergebnis echt hören lassen, allerdings ist das rohe Klangbild manchmal recht flach, mit ein bisschen EQ aber kein Problem - ist aber evtl auch einfach meiner Raumakustik geschuldet.

3. Akustikgitarre
Ich bin echt beeindruckt, gerade für Fingerstyle mit perkussiven Elementen taugt das Mikro richtig gut. Sehr klar und knackig.

4. E-Gitarre
Hier musste ich eine Weile rumprobieren, welche Einstellung der Richtcharakteristik am besten vorm Amp taugt, irgendwann hat es dann gut gepasst, dass die Aufnahme selbst bei Zimmerlautstärke (und viel distortion) ordentlich rüberkam.

Generell klingt das M179 nie schlecht oder billig - und wenn, muss man manchmal nur ein bisschen an den Einstellungen des Mikros drehen!

Die Verarbeitung ist auch Top, das Gehäuse und die Spinne machen einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Der mitgelieferte Koffer hätte gerne etwas kompakter ausfallen können, stört mich aber nicht wirklich, das Mikro bleibt eh immer am gleichen Ort.
Die "Anleitung" ist leider etwas dürftig, hier hätte CAD die verschiedenen Richtcharakteristiken ruhig etwas detaillierter erklären können - ausprobieren hilft aber auch.

Sehr positiv - im Gegensatz zum sm7b braucht das M179 keinen pre-amp. Ich habe es über mein UR22 an den PC angeschlossen und der Gain-Regler steht bei 2/3 für ein ordentliches Signal.

Fazit: Ich bin echt ein bisschen baff, dass man so ein Mikro für 249€ bekommt. Selbst für 350€ wäre ich damit noch zufrieden gewesen. Ein Multitalent mit Geheimtipp-Potential, das meine Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt hat.
