I wish I had this stand before my cat tried to climb down off my student cello via the bridge tipping it and sending to fly to the floor from a 1 meter shelf. The cat was totally fine, but one tuning peg got broken and the cello got 2 harsh marks on the ribs.

This item should prevent this from happening again. It's very light, padded and fits snugly but still is easy to insert the cello into without holding the stand with my hands.

(Not sure how the stand sounds :) but giving 5 stars for that as well.)
