Everything wireless!

This little device is a life saver!
I own two and use them on their own.
The first one I use with my Axe-fx and Airstep. It lets me control my axe-fx with any bluetooth footswitch. You can assign any command (cc or pc) and use your smartphone to set it up (takes about a minute).
The second one I use it to control my RC-5 looper and both work independently from each other. You can easily attach it anywhere with the metal button included (the widi is magnetic).
It does not need power when you can connect it with midi out. It can be powered with usb (if you cannot power it with midi out).
You can literally control any midi device with each other without any cable.
It just works!

Did not work at all. On USB-C power or MIDI DIN powered. Just receive two units. First did not work at all (no lights, no connection just bricked and the second one was working... for 7 minutes and dies.

Tu ouvres la boîte, tu plug l’affair, ça s’allume et ça se connecte en 2 temps 3 mouvements à l’IPad. Génial ! Puis tu ouvres la 2ème boite et tu te dis que ça va aller vite. Et non, il y a des subtilités pour utiliser un « réseau » de WIDI jack qui ne se dévoileront qu’à la suite du visionnage des 4 où 5 vidéos pas très sexy du site… et après avoir mis à jour le firmware sur tous les appareils, mais l’un après l’autre.
Côté robustesse, on est sur du consommable en plastic. Planquez le bien !

Yamaha BT01 abgelöst

Mit einem der IOS-Updates wollte mein Yamaha BT01 nicht mehr so geschmeidig arbeiten. Plötzlich ging es nur mit einer zusätzliche App (Midimittr) und das aber auch mit Hängen und würgen. Live ließ mich die Verbindung im Stich und damit war klar, dass etwas neues her musste. WIDI macht was es soll und wie man es sich intuitiv vorstellt. Bluetooth verbinden und fertig.
