MR
The most useful stand ever!
Matt R 23.05.2018
I bought this guitar stand as I was going on tour across Europe by train, using an interrail pass. My mission was to pack as light as possible.

I first saw the wooden versions of this stand advertised but they are pretty pricey. This is an 'eco' version, made from recycled plastic I think. It is light and packs up really small and is very affordable.

It fits in both my electric and acoustic guitar case and it pretty tough. I have stood on accidentally a few times and it is the same as new. I have also stood on my metal stands and broken them! So this is tough and flexible. I can put both my heavy Ibanez on it and it fits my acoustic guitar.

Because it is not made of wood, it doesn't feel as secure as a wooden or metal stand. You have to place a heavy guitar on it carefully. I don't really use it at home, preferring my bigger, more stable stands. Apart from that, cheap, small, foldable, light, great design. I would buy the wooden one next time perhaps but all in a very good buy.

Can't recommend this enough to a gigging musician! I always have the fear of leaving my bass balanced against my amp during shows and this takes that unnecessary stress

Lightweight, compact, stable enough

i have 2 of these guitar stands, stuffed in my gig bag, take them everywhere. Easy to fold, very compact and weight zero to none. I even have acquired the habit to put 2 e-guitars on 1 stand. This works very well, just be aware of ruthless bandmembers because they can easily fall backwards. So not the most sturdy ones around, but I wanted something lightweight and easy to carry, happy i have them.

I purchased this stand because it fit in the pocket of my banjo gig bag. I was a bit hesitant at first because when I place my openback banjo on it, it visibly buckles a bit under the weight of it. But after much use it seemed fine. I used this stand for all live shows, until one day, while playing outdoors on some cobblestones, I accidentally pulled the chord attached to my pickup and knocked the stand and banjo over. That was the last time that I used it. I switched to a more stable stand, with a wider base. This stand's compactness is its most attractive feature. I do like that it has rubber on it, which grips fairly well, but I won't be using it other than as a backup.
