It helps you to control the volume and sustain of your cymbals. But... after a certain size it feels more like an obstacle than a helpful tool. Pulls way too much back on the swing of the cymbals. the 50 is great, 60 is the top. This is waaaaay too big.

Es gibt eine Klangverschiebung zum erdigen hin, weil die hohen Frequenzen besonders reduziert werden und das Sustain kürzer wird. Mit Filzringen entsprechender Größe, Dicke, Festigkeit und Kombination (Groß über Klein) kann man ähnliche Effekte erzielen. Große Filz-Ringe vom Hihat ausprobieren! Gewebeband am Übergang zur Glocke dämpft auch, blockiert sie aber nicht.

J'ai acheté ces tampons pour réduire le volume d'une ride 20" et d'une crash 18" mais je n'ai pas entendu de différence. Aux vues des autres évaluations, je me dis que j'ai raté un truc ...faut il mettre un tampon dessous la cymbale ou 1 dessous et un dessus ?
Bref, un bout de tampon antidérapant (pour meuble) scotché sous la cymbale est bien plus efficace !
