I knew what to be expecting with these as they are the same brand I rock on my 6 strings. Being new to 7 strings I thought I better try a brand I know so I can focus on the guitar. These are excellent strings!!! 6 string, 7 string, same quality and performance. These have a very specific tone that can only be described as "full" and "clear". Plus, for the cost, I dont think you can do better. Don't waste your money on Ernie Ball Sacks ;-)

Aktuell habe ich auf allen meinen 7-Strings diese Saiten. Ich finde sie viel besser als D'Addario- oder Elixir-Saiten. Die letzteren Saiten hatte ich lange im Einsatz.
Bei den D'Addario-Saiten hatte ich spätestens beim dritten Mal spielen einen Bruch der tiefen A oder der tiefen E Saite (auf allen Gitarren) und es hörte nicht auf.
Die Elixir-Saiten hören sich anfangs sehr sauber an, das tun aber die meisten Saiten wenn sie neu sind :) . Kurze Zeit drauf fransen sie an den Berührunsstellen mit dem Pick aus und klingen sehr "bescheiden". Die Festigkeit ist hier etwas besser aber wenn man alles zusammenzählt, rechtfertigt das den Preis absolut nicht. Sollte aber trotzdem jeder für sich ausprobieren und entscheiden...

Die Saiten für den 7-Saiter haben an sich einen schönen Klang, sind gut verarbeitet und bleiben in der Stimmung.
Mein einziges Problem: Sie sind extrem kurz. Es war teilweise sehr knapp die Saiten überhaupt einzuwickeln.
