I bought this to replace the stock DiMarzio Super Distortions in my Dean '77 Chicago V that didn't provide the tightness and clarity required by the music I play. It is a very loud pickup, punchy and with a very wide dynamic range. It cleans up very well and never loses tightness under high gain settings. I had it installed with the bar towards the bridge, which should in theory increase the high end, but I never tried it the other way around so I have no idea if it works or not. I also splitted it with the split signal coming from the bar for maximum twang, and it works awesomely well in that way too. Really good, excellent build quality, nice looks!
