Really good in Bridge position
Straylight02 22.07.2019
Used this to replace a SD lil' humbucker which i found to be too mid rangey and "nasal". This was a much clearer and articulate sound and I really thought it was worth doing.

Just what I needed!
Dusko 10.09.2018
Goodbye good old strat bridge pickup! And good riddance! Never again will I have a Strat with the normal single coil in the bridge, not after testing this DiMarzio Cruiser!

I needed more body and less noise from my bridge pickup, so looked at getting a Humbucker, regular full size bucker that is. Problem is, I dislike Humbucker tone! So what then I wondered? I looked up some you tube vids on single coil sized humbuckers and kept coming back to this one, the Cruiser. I dont play high gain, very much clean with just that sizzly break up. I do venture into crunch too and it does its job well. This is NOT a regular Humbucker tone, but a very clear, responsive, dynamic rounded "single coil" tone. Lets just say its perfect for my Prog Rock music. It also sounds great in combination with my single coil neck pickup for even fatter tone! Are you worried about being noisy live or not being able to cut through the mix and yet you want to preserve the single-coilness in your bridge but rounder more body to it?! Get this DiMarzio Cruiser! This is a keeper for life!

Amazing

I have at least 7 different DiMarzio PU's and kind a like them all , but this one is so special for me because it keeps the traditional single coils character and meanwhile been modern, warm and most of all- so inspiring and playable. Yeah, some people say it lacks sparkle, too much lows, some says it isn't loud enough and they maybe right. For me it brings joy to my ears whatever style I play At the very end a PU is a personal thing

excellent

I mounted it as a neck pickup. The sound is awesome. The guitar is Godin made entirely of basswood and i had trouble liking any pickups on it, until this one...
Even though it is labeled as a "bridge" pickup, if players like Andy Timmons use it on the neck position - there must be a reason :)
Works great there, I never tried it as a bridge pickup.
