AW
A fun addition to any modular
Adam W. 15.05.2013
This is a fun yet practical module to add to any A100 modular setup. As well as building classic Theremin style pitch control patches, it's great for modulating other things too. For instance I found it great fun to run the antenna horizontally along the width of the keyboard, and then while playing basslines on the keys you could modulate the filter frequency by changing the angle of your hand! There's a lot of fun to be had with this surprisingly cheap module.

Modular Theremin

A nice Theremin antena, it also transmit gate so you can control any type of oscillators and envelope generators. You'll only need an attenuverter to inverse the polarity of it.

Fun - cheap - great module!

The A-178 Theremin is a really good little unit - you can control the pitch of your modules with the CV control, PLUS a gate output which you can control using the threshold.
I've had a LOT of fun with it in conjunction with a Doepfer A-151 sequential switch + Pressure Points. EPIC!!!

This is a lot of fun for messing around.
The response is rather “exponential”
