Great slide!
Anonymous 24.01.2017
One of my all time favorite glass slide. It is great that Dunlop provides the measurements right on the package. Makes it a lot easier to shop for their slides. It's amazing how many "custom" slide makers don't provide the length, inside and outside diameter.

ThE slide works just as it should. Sounds very good even on electric and acoustic guitars. I recommend this one to anyone searching for a good glass slide.

This 215 is a bit longer then other manufacturer slides which is good if you want to reach across all the strings.

I buy their other slides as well, which are about the same size but gyou must check for actual dimensions before buying.

PROS
cost effective
clear and accurate measurements/specs
the perfect size for me
good weight - very light

CONS
Nothing bad to say about this product. If you drop it it can break easily, so keep the plastic box to protect the slide from breaking

As always Dunlop slides are the way to go - affordable with great quality, fit and finish. Nice warm tone without much string noise. Highly recommended for a working musician - once you get use to it you will never want to use another one.

Thick, glassy, great!
MikeT 31.05.2013
This is the second 215 that I've bought- purely because I wanted a backup and really like it. It's got a thick wall which gives a lovely tone. I've experimented with a few slides and materials but have settled on this one. I use it on my ring finger and it sits fairly loosely; I prefer this kind of feel. Considering I've dropped it quite a bit (and it's fine!) and bought my first 215 about seven years ago I'd say it's great value!

I like it more than metal
Anonymous 13.03.2017
I've used 2/3 types of slides, metal and glass. And this is not only easier to put on and take out, and does not rust like other; instead it sounds better to my preference and is more comfortable to play. Don't worry about glass being too fragile, as this slides are made from thick glass and are still lighter than the metal ones.

J
Dunlop glass slide
Jens2695 24.03.2014
I got this Dunlop glass slide years ago in 2010 and I still use it today. I have tried it out on Classical and Acoustic guitars as well as Electric Guitars and it does seem to work quite well on most of them. It covers the fretboard well and gives you some nice sounds. It's solid glass no sharp edges and won't crack if you drop it.

Now when I started playing around with this I thought that this size would work for my fingers and it does. However since then my playing style have changed somewhat. I wanted to be able to do picking in the middle of songs while using the glass slide at the same time. Look for Leo Kottke playing Vaseline Machine gun.

So that have made me switch the finger I use for the glass slide, but that in turn made it more loose on my finger. I can still use it though, and I know some people like slides to be looser around the finger. So it's more of what you personally prefer. For a beginner guitar player or someone who intend to stick with strictly slide guitar (and not use the pinky) however then this is one slide I would recommend.

However for me next time I get a glass slide (and it would be a Dunlop one) I would go for a smaller slide to fit my pinky better.
