Great Patch Cable

These are really durable and high quality patch cables.

I use a Carl Martin Octa-Switch in my live/rehearsal setup and therefore I need lots of patch cables to run all my pedalboard in and out through the switch (14 patch cables). So, when I designed my pedalboard I looked for durable patch cables because debugging this kind of setup in the case of an interruption of one of the cables would take a lot of time. In this way, I have all my pedals connected with this kind of patches together with EBS PCF-DL18 and EBS PCF-DL28.

I have been using these for over 6 months for 2 rehearsals/week plus studio recording sessions and never had any cable problems when unpacking my pedalboard after being transported.

Would totally recommend these for anyone who cares about his pedalboard sustainability and durability over time.

Good quality for the price, extremely low profile

I’ve purchased a number of these in various cable lengths for a new, small pedalboard. The low profile with its flat, angled plugs was the main selling point for me. All in all, I would say these offer good quality for the price.

The plugs protrude approximately 1 cm from a pedal, so if you were to connect two adjacent pedals, there is only just over 2 cm space required between them. The flat cable is pretty flexible, and I found it easier to fit around angles than my old round cables.

I’m currently using seven of these EBS cables on my board (various lengths for a total of a bit over 1 meter) and did not notice significant deterioration of the audio signal or interference. However, I previously used similar quality patch cables and have not yet tested these against EBS’s “high performance” version that claim to offer better shielding.

Got it to match the other, shorter, cables I got of the same make. Not sure it makes sense having a flat cable of this length, because the longer the cable, the bigger the chances are that, you'll want it to twist at some point. But there you go, uniformity is important too.

Like its shorter counterparts, it feels durable and nice to the touch.
