Unbeatable tremolo pedal!!!
Zdravko M. 08.12.2015
I'm a big fan of tremolo effect, and so I wanted to get the best one I could find. Without a doubt this pedal is exactly that!!!
It comes with a power supply, and the instruction manual, which is a must read, because this pedal has so many functions that it's almost absurd :)
Just look on u-tube for some reviews, and you'll see what I'm talking about. You can tailor every aspect of this effect, and save it in one of 8 presets, or just have fun in normal mode.
You can assign an expression pedal to control one of the parameters of your choice. It's stereo in, and out, so when connected to two guitar amps, then you can really begin to understand it's full potential.
The built quality is great, and this one will stay forever on my pedalboard, without any doubt!
I can't be more happy with my purchase, and I strongly recommend this pedal to everyone that is interested in tremolo effect. It's worth every cent, and more!!! It's really unbelievably cheap, when I think of everything it can do, and the overall quality. Why are you still reading? ...Go and buy one!!! :)

T
Great sound...lacks something
TouchTimeRecords 26.03.2019
So, this is a great pedal. It sounds just fine and has a ton of features (maybe too many...?).
BUT it lacks a very important thing IMHO: it SAYS it can receive clock/tap via jack, but it's never completely in sync, which is very annoying when you wanna get a triplet tremolo in sync with external midi clock...
I tried a lot of different ways to achieve good results but I've never been 100% satisfied with the way it handles midi CLK (I send taps from a Disaster Area Designs G3 connected via MIDI or USB to my DAW).
Sound quality is great! however! Only problem is if you want to play with electronic patterns or some such.

Promises lot but gives nothing
Should have a second thought 15.12.2021
After 30 minutes use the pedal "froze" and stopped responding to buttons. The product has a long list of complaints at EHX web forum describing similar behavior. Read those first before buying.

K
waves in all forms, heavy tremolo
Kapser 22.04.2023
It is a really cool pedal. The way you can chose so much wave forms combined with shapes is unique. And that row of flash lights shows very well what the wave does. It is very easy to use If you leave the envelope knobs halfway and stay out of the rythm part on the wave-knob.
If you want a more traditional but versatile tremolo sound, I would go for the Fender mtg tube tremolo. This also has many waveforms and sounds really warm.
But if you really dig the different waveforms and heavy tremolo, this is your pedal. It 's very psychedelic. There is a very helicopter, choppinglike , reverse synth quality on the sounds , but they are not cold digital. I like the inverse possibility too. Tap divide options are great . It has a big fun factor. I wonder what it is about the algorythm that makes it sound that way. If you compare, for exmple, the reverse sawtooth of the fender to that of the superpulsar it is a big difference. Superpulsar is much more explicit. Fender is subtile.
I dont't know if I will use the envelope and expression possibilities much.
I compared it also to the ehx MOD11 tremolo mode. It sounds more or less the same but with more options. More or less because the sound seems a little more powerful and articulate. More fun.
