New life for the old sound
TomCozy, 19.07.2018
For a long time I hesitated, if I should not hit the analogue heat or not, because I always thought: "That little bit of boost or drive I get even in the DAW." No way! Now the Analog Heat MK II is here and it has been more than worthwhile with the Clean Boost. It almost does not matter what you run over it. The sound just gets richer and breathes new life into older hardware too. If you do not find yourself so alive, you can completely destroy your sound with the Heat until the boxes give up.

Once you have found your sound on the eight analog circuits, you can also save them! So you save the tedious sketching of the controller position eg on an effect pedal and it is usually felt to be nanometers.

Perhaps it should be mentioned that you can integrate the heat in the future also super overbridge as another interface in a DAW. Elektron has started the beta test for version 2.0 at the same time as the release of the Heat MK II. Practically it is possible (at least so in the old OB version) to chase through its already recorded tracks via the USB connection again.

The (or Das?) Analog Heat is not only suitable for stationary use in the studio but also for any live setup. Like all electron devices the heat is perfectly processed.

Oh yes! A look into the manual is of course mandatory for all electron devices! It just does not always come up with the idea that the manufacturers duplicate their keys. So one or the other important setting of the Heat could be overlooked.

All who want to breathe new life into their sound, should not hesitate and get the Heat home!
