Super surgical EQ, very transparent and clean.

Very sturdy design, but only 2kg.. Looks good, full metal construction, including knobs! ...The important things..... its transparent...the sound is crispy and in same way is very silky, you can make it thin... you can make it thick... Need more silky vocal? Voila! Need punchy bass? No problem! Its pure class A. It has 41 (!!!) steps for every parameter. Its the only device that have true stereo link ... only one control for both channels! Perfect! Nobody did it before.

Let read why I need a true stereo link:

I started using it as a "magic, super power secret weapon" for...HI-FI system... Yes... Not many people using those devices in audiophile setups... but believe me ... This device, is doing a great job! More than that, it can be used as an ultimate EQ for headphone setup. (or hi-end systems) If you have a problems in your setup (acoustics? 6K Peaks ?) , the cables will never fix it..
This Elysia will do it for you. It can fix the 6K peak of HD800 in two seconds! Its really amazing. Its can add a warm bass sound to every song that missing it...

It very well build , its screams "quality", 3 different outputs.
Made in Germany , and has a very good quality , metal knobs.

Cons: I just wish to get it in smaller package, not the 19",
but its a PRO equipment, that make a great job, so...
Its a true boutique staff. my is only 000027X.

Working with Elysia filter is a great experience.
I was needing an analog gear addition to my music production chain, and it was a successful selection.
Elysia is able to make a great job not only on mastering task, indeed, on mixing process too.
I would never get results like at this moment, using plugins instead this kind of gear,because the difference is very noticeable.

Die perfekte HiFi-Klangregelung

Der xfilter kommt zum Einsatz als analoge Klanregulung in einer hochwertigen HiFi Anlage. Der xfilter wird über eine Tapeschleife am Vorverstärker eingebunden. Damit ist für alle Quellen die Einstellung des xfilter verwendbar. Eine Klangfarbenveränderung kann ich nicht feststellen.
Es knackt nicht, rauscht nicht und es brummt nichts. Die Cinchkabel werden über Neutrik-Adapter angeschlossen. Die Möglichkeit der sehr breit oder auch etwas schmalbandigereren Pegelabsenkung/Anhebung lässt eine sehr gute Klangbeeinflussung zu. In meinem Fall eine Pegelabsenkung um ~3dB von 400-2000Hz um die Lautsprecher (Thiel CS3.7) etwas weniger energisch klingen zu lassen. Was ich etwas vermisse ist ein Q-Faktor Regler anstatt der 2 wählbaren Stufen. Die mitgelieferten Graphiken zeigen aber sehr anschaulich wie weit/breit die eingestellten Q-Faktoren wirken. Das sehr geringe Gewicht ist ein kleines Problem weil "seriöse" HiFI-Cinchkabel das Gerät aus dem Rack ziehen über die Hebelwirkung der Adapterstecker.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Die 2 Cinchkabelpaare sind zusammen teurer als der Xfilter. Die anderen Bausteine der Anlage beginnen ab 5k€. Für Highender die eine analoge Klangregelung in Betracht ziehen würden anstatt den Hörraum umzubauen ist das Elysia xfilter eine unbedingte Empfehlung. Noch dazu hat man 30Tage Rückgaberecht bei Thoman.
