iv'e mounted this unit in my bass combo i constructed to use 2x8"cabinet but has 2x10" spec...im using a tcelectronic bh250 amp head & musicman 4 string custom bass and it sounds superb...A lot better than the two (fane 8"225 watt )ones i bought, they just could not deal with the setup..even when i used just one of them.

excellent

I bought 4 of these speakers just for a fun project expecting nothing more than decent speakers. Boy was I surprised when I opened the boxes and had a closer look on them...Very, very, very well made. Rigid structure, tight glued cone and a massive magnet behind can only mean an outstanding sound for the speaker of this size. I used them with a Hi-end tube amplifier and they offered crystal clear mids and quite deep bass considering they are more midrange class of speakers.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone , especially for what you get for the money. Thomann's team is nothing less but exceptional pros.

Great replacement speaker for a guitar amp
Arkku 07.02.2015
I used this to replace the speaker element inside a cheap guitar amp cabinet, and the sound was completely transformed into a much more expensive class. Installation was easy, basically a drop-in replacement. A very good deal if you wish to revive a cab that is otherwise sitting unused due to unsatisfactory sound. For uses other than guitar amp I cannot comment on.

A good replacement

Bought to replace old speakers in a refurbished mid range PA cab, along with 12" drivers. Performed flawlessly. No distortion, just a crisp clear sound, but only used in the 250Hz - 2.5kHz range so unable to comment on low or high end sound.
