Amazing value

This really is everything you need to get you started playing the guitar. Some of these "starter packs" are so shoddy that they'll put you off playing for life, but this is great.

In the pack, you get the guitar (of course...) a practice amp and some other useful stuff. the big surprise is that it's all decent quality. The guitar first...right out of the box, it was nicely set up, with a very playable action. Like a lot of these kits, it would benefit from a better set of strings, but there's nothing wrong with the ones it comes with. It's a nice, fast neck with tuners that work really well - general build quality is excellent. Not the greatest paint job in the world, but saying that, it's a cool looking instrument. The gig bag doesn't offer a huge amount of protection, but it'll keep the dust off at least. The clip on tuner is excellent - I wasn't too sure what to make of this kind of device, but it's handy and accurate. It also comes with a battery - bonus! The amp is OK - a little "fizzy" but more than adequate to start you off - a word of warning - like most Thomann products, it comes with a two pin euro plug, so make sure you've got an adapter if you're in the UK. They're pennies on line, but if you're buying this for a present, just make sure you've got one handy to avoid disappointment. Strap and lead are functional - no frills, but they work well enough. I haven't tried out the instructional DVD, but I have used the lovely "Epiphone" sticker that came with the instructions!

This is one of the better starter packs - highly recommended.

S
Fantastic, setup on arrivial
Smiteside 06.10.2014
We got this guitar as a give-away for the end of a tour with the guitar being used every day of the tour on stage, we found that straight out the box it was setup perfectly? Never had that with any guitar but meant it could do 2 months of straight touring and then given away as prize,
Fantastic!

A very good starter pack, which really includes everything a beginner might need. The guitar sounds great too and it’s very beautiful as well.
The only reason I took a star off from quality is the tuner which is not very responsive and sometimes it takes a lot of time to tune the guitar because it lacks accuracy. It also leaves a mark on the guitar which cannot be cleaned so try to put it on the same spot every time. Other than that I’m extremely happy with the whole pack.

O
AMP IS SO BAD
Orangella 21.05.2021
Guitar is pretty solid for beginners but AMP is a disaster. I would recommend that you guys can buy guitar and good amp, instead of this set.
