Disappointing quality on nice bass
Bassface1 21.11.2021
I liked the surveyor models but this is not a “totally accurate” reissue in my opinion. It’s a little different form the originals. But Still a great bass spec. wise, with gotoh bridge, Seymour Duncan pick ups and a nice ebony fretboard. Paint job in metallic white was excellent no blemishes on the body and looked great. Neck feels great and it has a thin wide neck for shredding. Large frets. Now the bad bits-quality was awful. One of the pots was mismatched (yes the pot) and the knob wouldn’t fit properly and was way higher than the rest. One of the bolts on the back neck plate was ‘mangled’ meaning it caught and scraped everything it came into contact with. Paint was a little rough around the headstock and the bass was covered in sawdust when I took it out of the box. Thomann sorted out the pot issue. However this quality is not good enough for a bass of this price. Specs are great on paper with the quality, finish and electronics (not the SD pick ups they were great)left a lot to be desired. Consider the fender Duff McKagen instead if you can spring for the higher price. Fender quality at this price point is superior in my opinion.

One of the best basses ive played
juhos3000 08.12.2020
So i was looking for a P bass with P/J configuration in that 1000€ region. This one caught my eye and man this was a solid buy. The neck is really thin (but wider than Jazz neck) and it suits my hand. Those Seymour Duncans are great, they have a lot of growl in them. Also the overall buildquality is good, i was bit nervous about that but it didnt let me down. This is a solid competitor for that Duff McKagen bass

excellente basse

Cette basse a une vraie personnalité. Polyvalente et simple. Petit bémol sur les mécaniques, pour le reste rien à redire à ce prix
