I replaced one of my EV SX300 drivers with the Fane and I have to say it is excellent.
Very good solid bass and nice crisp sound.
I would happily recommend them.

utilisé pour la réalisation d'un cabinet pour basse electrique couplé à une tête d'ampli Laney développant 300 watts sous 8 ohms, le Fane Sovereign a rempli les objectifs attendus: son non typé qui retranscrit fidèlement le son de l'instrument, impression de qualité émanant de la fabrication du haut parleur, connectique complète pour branchements en série et en parallèle. Il ne s'agit pas d'un haut parleur full range.
Quelques "plocs" lors des premiers tests m'ont fait craindre le pire, il s'agissait probablement de la membrane à laquelle il a fallu quelques minutes pour se rôder.
Par contre, le volume d'enceinte nécessaire pour optimiser le rendu du 12-300 reste assez élevé (autour de 120 litres minimum). La série deltalite demande moins de volume mais pour un prix nettement plus élevé.
Au final, l'utilisation du 12-300 répond à mes attentes et j'en suis satisfait.

Mittlerweile ist er in einer Laney 2x12 Box (geschlossen) eingebaut, zusammen mit einem FANE F70. In der Kombination geht jetzt fast alles: Gitarre, Orgel, Bass. Alles kommt gut rüber. Und der Hochtöner für den Bass? Ich glaube, auf den kann man verzichten, aber ich bin kein Bassist. Das müssen andere beurteilen.
