Really cheap and nasty guitar flung off the mass production line

I purchased this guitar because of its great reviews. When I received it I had massive fret buzz on most strings. After taking it to a guitar specialist to get setup we found the neck was seriously warped. No tinkering could get this guitar setup and sound right. Thomann replaced it and the replacement had very simular issues. No adjustments could get it sounding like it should. If you don't mind massive fret buzz on most strings and an off set neck then this is the guitar for you. I've retuned the guitar and asked for a full refund. Really show how bad quality Fender has got to these days.

This is the first time in my life I'm buying a guitar online. It is really very well build instrument and the set up is awesome.
Big thanks to all the guys in Thomann for sending me the instrument in a safe bags, with the best set up (I think made in the Thomann's workshop) and the condition-brand new, looking untouched one!!
About the guitar - everything the Fender says about AM Perf Tele is a truth!! Authentic American Tele for the incredible price of 1045 Euro. It's a worth to think about.

Great guitar, great neck, pick ups awesome! Quality instrument, it came in a gig bag and I guess that's the only place where Fender has saved some budget which they have fully invested in the quality and the looks of this guitar.
If you are looking for a classical Telecaster feel and sound, can't go wrong with this one! it's spot on!

Als jahrelanger LP und Strat Spieler hat mich die Tele irgendwann gereizt.
Dieses Modell hat mich sehr schnell überzeugt.
Klar erwartet man von einer Gitarre für knapp über 1.000€ auch einen gewissen Qualitätsstandard, diese Erwartung wurde bei mir aber klar übertroffen.
Die Performer ist sozusagen das Einsteiger USA Modell, liefert aber enorm viel Qualität.

PRO:
+ Resonanz: Auch trocken angespielt bereits hör- und spürbar
+ Yosemite Pickups: überzeugen absolut
+ Hals: ist sehr komfortabel (Satin Finish) und liegt auch für Spieler mit kleineren Händen bequem in der Hand. Dennoch ist er nicht zu dünn.
+ Jumbo Bundierung: Verwundert auf den ersten Blick ein wenig, aber passt echt ins Gesamtpaket und überzeugt.
+ Verarbeitung: Sehr hochwertig, keine Mängel
+ Farbe/Look: Vintage white und vintage Bridge machen echt was her.
+ Gesamtpaket Preis/Leistung

CONTRA:
- Bünde sind nicht poliert (ist nicht weiter schlimm, aber wäre eine kleine Zugabe gewesen beim auspacken des Instruments).
- Gigbag statt Koffer (bei dem Preis aber auch verständlich)

Alles in allem: Tolles Instrument an dem man viel und lange Spaß haben wird und bei dem so gut wie nichts gegen einen Kauf spricht.
