AE
My cheapest and favourite bass
AndiBass EST 09.12.2019
I bought this bass after very serious research of reviews and trying different jazz basses available. My goal was to find good quality and good sounding bass which is affordable. I can say I found it and I am 100% satisfied of my choice.

Pros
* Affordable (compared with any other Fender J-Bass)
* Extremely good sounding (very much like USA-made instruments)
* Very comfortable and fast neck
* Fretwork was well done
* Mine was set up perfectly in the factory

Cons
* Pao ferro fretboard looks weird reddish brown and feels rough
* Tuning pegs could be better quality
* Body does not resonate like higher end Fender basses

I own fretless Standard Series J-Bass from 2017. Honestly I can't tell any difference between the two instrument bodies. Maybe my Standard J-Bass was ahead of time and had "more traditional body radii" already then :)

About a month ago I bought and soon sold a Squier CV 70s J-Bass which was of poor quality. I tried American Standard/Professional and Performer Jazz Basses which were outstanding quality but I won't take them to any pub gig. Player Series was perfect choice in between.

I recommend this Player Series J-Bass
