I've always wanted a Fender p bass and I finally got one! Nice colour, lightweight and it sounds soooo good (trust me, soooo good). And that shiny fretboard is beautiful. However, there are some things that bother me. Such as the fret work on the side of the neck being too rough. I was expecting smooth as silk sides. Or the pickguard cut that wasn't perfect clean. They could also provide a more massive bridge (is there any difference with Squire bridges?). Just small things like that. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad, but I was expecting something better. I've seen better features in cheaper Ibanez basses.
I understand this one is the entry level bass for Fender, but hey! they could put a little bit more effort in those stupid details that drive you nuts.

But yeah, this is my bass now and it sounds great! That's the important stuff, right?

Worth to mention the excellent Thomann service. The delivery took a few days extra because here (UK) was a bank holiday, so nothing related to Thomann. You got a new fan here. Good job!

Outstanding Fender Bass, Player Series MIM. Great quality and feel, love the Butter Cream. Sounds ace and the neck is superb.
Fantastic value and quality P- Bass, just love these Fender Basses.

This is a nice bass, played very smoothly and is a very good instrument for its price. Intonation is very good as well. All notes heard loud and clear when playing. I had it set up and stringed and was ready for a gig. I was disappointed to see that the E string had an issue and kept falling, causing fret buzz. Same thing happened another time. Maybe I was a bit unlucky, but it s not pleasant to be let down by the instrument onstage. Glad I had a backup bass..

Great bass for guitar player

As a guitar player, i bought this because i wanted to able to record real bass on my tracks. I don't gig with it, and just use it in the studio - so i can't vouch for tuning stability etc. in a live situation, but in the studio it works wonders.

It sits great in the mix, it's very easy to play - and mine was very light as well... Just 3,7 kilos.

The pick-ups are nice. It just sounds like a classic P-bass.

I'm very happy with my purchase.
