Genuine P bass perfection

I played this side by side with a squier cv 60s and the fender was clearly much better. The neck is so smooth with the satin finish, the electronics are noise free and the sound output is just so warm and rounded like a P bass should be.
With the tone at 100%, the natural resonance of the instrument can be heard which is clear and well defined. Slap, rock, reggae, classical, this bass is good for it all in my opinion.
This capri orange colour! Oh my it is more funky in real life than the pictures. The whole bass makes me want to pick it up and play every single day. I cannot recommend it enough. Zero problems with it at all.
I suspect the american made ones are not much better for the price, but I do believe this one is worth the high price for the quality you get.
The pau ferro fretboard was a little dry looking but while adding a fender high mass bridge and rotosound 77 flatwound strings, i oiled it with lemon oil and now it is just perfect.

First impresion: The surprise that I have in my hands a real bass, not a toy.
The sound is the one you dream of.
Excellent playability.
Quality is very good.
Features? What feauters? It's the simplest you can get and that is not a flaw.

Einfach konsequent

Ich bin kein Bass-Profi - und schon gar kein Anhänger der These, dass allein eine Marke ein gutes Instrument ausmacht. Aber dieser Bass hat mich einfach überzeugt. Er kam strahlend aus der Verpackung. Die erste Trocken-Probe war knurrig und vielversprechend. Über den Amp hat dieser Preci sofort genau das geliefert, was ich mir gewünscht habe.

Dieser Bass kann genau ein Ding. Und das ist für mich so konsequent, dass ich kein zweites Ding brauche. Die Verarbeitung ist top, ich musste nichts nachjustieren. Kein Schnarren, keine Dead-Spots, ausgewogen über alle Saiten und Lagen, Mechaniken ok - und ein satter knurriger Ton zum Verlieben. Ein Pickup, Volumen-Poti, Höhenregler - fertig. Das Original ist in diesem Fall eben das Original. Herrlich.

Und noch ein Dank an die Thomänner. Ich habe auch andere Bässe getestet. Tolle Dinger, modernste Bauart, fantastische Technik. Der simple Preci hat sie alle in den Sack gesteckt - wenn man eben dieses eine Ding liebt, das er verspricht und hält. Thomann hat das möglich gemacht. Die Rückabwicklung der Mitbewerber war total unkompliziert. So mach das Spaß.

Au déballage, couleur superbe, la finition est top, aucun défaut.
Une fois branchée, gros et bon son par rapport à ma JB (pas une Fender et pas la même gamme de prix non plus).
J'avais une petite appréhension sur la largeur du manche et en fait, ce n'est pas un problème, malgré mes petites mains.
Vraiment content de cet achat.
