This was the easiest transformation of my Stratocaster, minimum amount of soldering and slotted straight in, thanks Thomann for the fast delivery

Nice upgrade kit
RAMBOBG 10.03.2024
I somehow magically traded one of my guitars for an old bullet strat which appeared to be my first ever electric guitar back in the day (exact guitar). So due to nostalgia I played it and immediately had the urge to upgrade it. Because I'm not good at soldering, I bought this complete set, just only to solder it to the input jack. Now the bullet strat is fully upgraded and sounds like a real Fender! Pickups are alnico, pots are two times bigger than the original ones, five-way switch is also bigger, but everything fit in my bullet strat without doing some woodworking.

Great sounds, ok price

Pickups sound great, very stratty. You can make them honky, you can make them sound fat or spanky. Versitile pickups. The pots, switches and wiring is good quality. No complaints about anything really. I'm a bit surprised with the quality of the sound and components. For this price range this is really the only option worth the money. Yeah, you can get cheap alnico5 prewired pickguards, but do you really want "cheap" when it comes to the main source of tone?
The tex-mex pickups are the way to go if you want prewired, good quality, affordable and a "strat but a little more" kind of sound.
Be aware that this does come prewired for tone control on the bridge pickcup.
Not really a con but i wish it had come with new screws.
