Adds artifacts

As I have limited space on my pedalboard, and limited budget I went for compressor and gate from Flamma. The compressor I find starts to add some strange artifacts when sound starts to fade. This is when compression is above 10-11 o’clock and with gain up on the amp. It also adds a lot of hiss, which got better when putting the gate after it in the chain. With the gate before or after the pedal is useless. With the gate after and dialing it down it’s usable, but not great. Will look for a better option pretty soon.

It is simple, but it works. It operates under low noise and does not lead into any internal clipping - something that is otherwise often the case on other cheap solutions. I can recommend this.

Très bien pour une basse

Je voulais une config basse minimaliste dans le cas où le gros pédalier multi-effets n'est pas nécessaire.
Le compresseur est très utile (voire indispensable) pour une basse, donc je suis parti à la recherche d'un modèle adapté et je suis tombé sur ce petit truc-là. Déjà, c'est un compresseur optique, donc bien adapté à la basse.
A la vue du prix, j'étais plutôt méfiant, mais les rares commentaires ne disaient pas de mal, donc j'ai tenté le coup.
Ouverture de la boite, c'est bien emballé, c'est du métal, et ça semble plutôt bien fabriqué. A confirmer sur la durée.
J'ai branché la pédale, ça fonctionne bien, le son est propre et la compression est efficace (c'est le but recherché...). Les réglages, c'est un jeu d'enfant : on ajuste l'intensité de la compression (gros potard en haut), on corrige le volume de sortie (petit potard à gauche) et c'est tout ! Il y a même un potard d'EQ (à droite) si besoin, mais je le laisse au milieu.
Bref, mini-format, mini-prix, mais ça fait le job si on recherche un compresseur basique.
Il parait que ce compresseur est basé sur un modèle connu, mais je n'ai pas trouvé plus d'infos.
Quoi qu'il en soit, je ne regrette pas du tout cet achat.

Schöne Überraschung / Flamma FC21 OC

Ich habe den Kompressor "auf Glück" bestellt, da nicht viele Bewertungen oder Testberichte vorzufinden waren. Günstig sollte es sein, habe aber auch keinen Wunder erwartet.
Seit paar Tagen teste ich in meinem Home-Studio das Produkt, mit E-, E-Akustik- und E-Bass-Gitarren auch in Kombination mit Effekten.
Ich bin erstaunt, wie gut und simple es funktioniert. Relativ rauscharm, wertig verarbeitet, sehr klein, dennoch gut zu bedienen und – meines Erachtens – ist so etwas in der Preisklasse sonst nicht zu bekommen. Dazu, nicht jedes Produkt auch noch für den "Bass" vorgesehen...
Es ist keine große Investition, und nutzlos in der Ecke wird es bestimmt nicht liegen, man muss das kleine Ding einfach haben! :-)
