One knob wonder pedal!
I was looking for a noise gate to control the natural amp hum from the preamp section of a Mesa Rectifier cranked to high gain. I found it straight away with the Zuul Mini.
Straight out of the box, plugged in and it silenced the preamp noise immediately with no loss of tone or volume, with a natural sounding gate that tapers away smoothly. That was without even touching the only control knob!
The key input alongside the audio input enables this pedal to work REALLY well, I have it setup being fed from an Audio Technica wireless with two outputs, one to the pedalboard effects and the second into a tuner then into the Zuul Mini. This gives the Zuul a totally clean reference signal to optimize the gating process.
It works brilliantly, is small, light, and most importantly - looks METAL !!

Sidechain noise gate! oh yes
I use this as a sidechain noise gate, meaning a kick-drum og hihat triggers the key input - and opens the gate for my guitar to be chopped rhythmically by the input signal. Genius effect for expanding the guitar sounds and function. Sidechaining a noise gate is a typical studio-tool.
I want to point this out because this is not an obvious feature for the ZUUL, despite Fortin amps says somewhat similar in their description of this pedal. SO this pedal is not only for Djent etc.. this is a genius piece of equipment for "modern" musicians looking for expanding what guitar can do. Or bass. Or vocal. Audio triggering audio. its beautiful

Worth the Money!
I have had this now for a few months and i cant get away from the 'bump' it gives to my tone.
I have been using the NeuralDSP plugins with a virtual version of this however putting this at the front of the chain definitely add 'the sauce' to my tone.
I have used this with Fishmen Fluence, EMG's and BKP's and comprehensively say its worth it!!

Little jem. Perfect for noisy distortion pedals
I am the happy owner of a Alpha Omega Ultra V2. That pedal is great but a little noisy if you turn the distortion and level all the way up. Solution? A nice Zuul!
Tip (if you have a Boss chromatic tuner): bypass connected to the key (zuul).
Pros:
very little footprint, it does what it says without sucking the tone, great graphics.
No cons!

Does the job very well
The key function makes all the difference. My rig is dead quiet now! There's only one knob to adjust, but this only means you can't set it up wrong :-)
Very fast response, very easy in setting up, I'm impressed!

Everyone needs a good noise gate
I used many different noise gates before I tried it. I realised I wasted so much time and money looking elsewhere. Rookie mistake. It works properly with all my guitars, pedals and amps.

A saviour...
The best noise gate...the key input is...key!Dead silent and very versatile.
Has a small switch on the side to make it more aggressive. Well worth the money.

First noise gate, I'm very pleased
I watched Ola Englund's vid on this noise gate and all I can say is he was right. He explains everything this pedal does, and it does it very well. It's a bit on the pricy side but you get everything you need from a noise gate.
