Soft, natural sound .....?

The Thomann description states the above. I'm not so sure . Playing without picks for forty years and a natural nail sound is brighter. This gives soft to dull in my opinion! (Alaska picks are closer) I'm sure it's the delrin material -- perhaps the polycarbonate is better? I only resort to a pick because of a broken nail - and this is a practical (temporary) solution with a reasonably snug fit and minimum movement --- so I don't regret the purchase.
An aside . In all my years of playing I have never yet come across a pick manufacturer who addresses directly the problem of a broken nail with a specific product. In my opinion it's quite a common occurance for 'natural' pickers.

Nice picks but heavy

much too thick and heavy for my taste. They work great but I am perhaps little too aggressive with my banjo frailing for these picks

Die Dinger taugen was!

Ich habe schon seit vielen Jahren beim Fingerpicking Probleme mit ständig einreißenden und abbrechenden Nägeln. Habe es erstmal mit den Alaska-Picks probiert; die sind sehr gut, aber haben bei zu kurzen Nägeln ein Problem mit dem sicheren Sitz. Habe nach Augenschein nun mal die Fred Kellys probiert, und nach kurzer Eingewöhnung mein Fazit: die Dinger taugen was. Ein paar kleine Anpassungen an den Rändern mit nem Dremel haben den Sitz an den Nagelrändern verbessert, und Spielbarkeit und Sound sind perfekt. Dies ist keine gekaufte Bewertung, sondern die eines zufriedenen Kunden.

Même commentaire sur l'inconfort absolu que le modèle Fred Kelly Pick Freedom Finger Pick P L. Le seul point fort de ce modèle est la matière, le Delrin. Superbe toucher et notes douces chaleureuses cordes à vide, puis du sillet jusqu'à la rosace. Dommage! Il y a tant de guitaristes qui attendent avec impatience le modèle parfait. Alors svp les fabricants, jouez d'abord de la guitare pour comprendre ce qu'il nous faut, et réveillez-vous pour que l'on puisse donner de l'émotion à nos notes sans faire grimper nos notes à la caisse.
