Questo set di Boomwhackers hanno attratto la mia curiosità didattica dopo che avevo messo nel carrello la'ltro set di strumenti all'ottava superiore.
Come avrete intuito adopero questo set principalmente nei progetti scolastici con bambini e ragazzi e appena dopo aver comprato questi set abbiamo messo insieme nella scuola in cui lavoro una piccola orchestra di percussioni in cui le uniche basse frequenze sono questi whackers e le note basse del vibrafono.
Il set si presenta con un' estensione di un ottava (da DO a SI) non-cromatica (ossia senza le alterazioni) ed è semplicissimo da usare, basta percuoterlo sulle proprie gambe, tra loro oppure (come facciamo noi) su dei tavoli ricoperti di gomma così da non danneggiare gli strumenti urtandoli.

Mi aspettavo qualcosina di più carino dal suono, ma tutto sommato è accettabile (a parte il la che èstonato di un quarto di tono circa).

I boomwhackers sono degli strumenti intuitivi e divertenti, pedagogicamente e didatticamente stimolanti (anche il colorare le note in maniera differente è un' ottima cosa) che consiglio per ogni progetto che abbia a che fare con bambini ma anche con adulti che hanno voglia di sperimentare, dato che li uso in qualche pezzo con il quartetto jazz .
