Good crowning file
Great for reprofiling the frets after levelling. Makes very short work of recrowning, just a few passes typically needed. Has safe edges to help protect the fingerboard but I also use masking tape. I like the rounded corners on the leading face of the file as they reduce the likelihood of causing damage to the guitar body. Also like the ergonomic wooden handle as it gives a good grip keeping the file perpendicular to the frets. It is tricky to use at the higher frets especially with low radius necks. It would benefit from an angle between the handle and file and maybe a shorter file length. I think that these features come with far more expensive files. So at this price and given that I use only for my guitars, no complaints.

Does the job
It isn't as good as a diamond file, but I wasn't expecting it to be. It took quite a bit of polishing after using this file, but it did the job, and for the price, it's pretty good.

Egdes are slightly deep, need to be very careful to not damage the neck wood. Use mask tape and work very gentle.

It works (kind of)
Unbeatable for the price. Bought a diamond file from a well know luthier shop in the USA and I think it is worth 4 times the price (much better). For the one time occasional job this one will do

Good for the amateur luthier
This does not feel like a professional tool, and I guess it is not meant to. It good if you wnat to be able to make some adjustments to your instrument at home.
If you are an amateur like me, who likes to tinker with you instruments, you need to have some special tools just to get strted. You would probably not go all out for the most expensive professional tools, given that they will only be used once in a blue Moon. Then this is is just the thing for you.
Given what I payed for this I am very happy.

Nice file
This is really nice old school file with comfortable handle. Edges are smooth so you wont ruin your fretboard. Only thing it's missing is another radius on one side. It would be much more useful tool if it had that.

A tad too wide
I would describe the file as being "large" size. That being said, a medium jumbo fret feels still too small for the file. Does the job but I think a narrower file would do it better

Easy to use even for a beginner
Did my first fret leveling this spring and I was a bit concerned if I´d mess it up. Did some research and decided to buy this tool.
Easy to use, does not harm the fretboard ( if used with common sense and right angle on the edges) and does not grind too much of the metal away at once.
Learned the right technique by watching videos on the subject and had a good first result. Would recommend the product for beginners like me.
Maybe the shape of the handle could be more anatomicly suitable to the hand - other than that I´m pleased with it.

Usable quality tool
I lost my ridiulously expensive fret file a while back and have been shaping frets by hand ever since so i finally decided to get another file.
This one was comparatively cheap but I found it to be of a usable quality and expect with proper use and cleaning for it to last well.
This is one of those tools that an experienced luthier can use on most fret profiles though not something i recommend just anyone to use on their best guitar.

Good for big frets
The file works perfectly. The only problem is that the grooves are quite deep so the file only works for the bigger frets, if a fret is low you will cut into the fretboard.
