Nice alternative from my usual strings

I use for many years the Gibson's Pure Nickel Vintage Reissue 11'', but I had problem for some period to find them as they were out of stock. Since I don't like D'addario and Ernie Balls at all and I have already tried Fenders with not great succes, I tried the GHS as an alternative. It's a nice set of strings, with good balance and a good midrange responce very close to my taste. I am still not going to replace the Gibsons, but so far it's the best alternative for me.

I use these strings for all my Les Pauls, they deliver a great sound and feel, and the top E-string is a heavier gauge which plays great when you want a more focused bass.
I've been using these for over 10 years now and still using!

Montées sur une type 335 équipée de Seymour D. Phat Cat, j'ai gagné à la fois en qualité de son et en plaisir de jeu.
La guitare avait pourtant les très bonnes cordes signatures Gilmour de la même marque auparavant, mais ce sont les Eric Johnson qui lui vont le mieux et lui donne un sustain impressionnant.

Coup de chance, il me restait une des excellentes Rotosound Red (merci Roto de mettre 1 mi aigu supplémentaire par paquet) et j'ai pu constater (enfin, il me semble) que la Roto sonne plus "doux" que les GHS sol/si... à suivre donc.

Como caracteristica especial podemos destacar su entorchado aplanado y su construccion que hace especiales a estas cuerdas.

Se reduce el a veces molesto ruido que produce el roce al mover la mano y son muy comodas al hacer slides

Su sonido es muy calido, mas que otras cuerdas normales, lo cual es ideal para instrumentos excesivamente brillantes.
Proporcionan unos graves muy buenos debido al gran grosor de las cuerdas entorchadas.

Son un poco rigidas en afinacion standard, pero son muy faciles de usar en Eb.

Perfectas para probar cosas distintas ya que son muy diferentes respecto a las cuerdas convencionales tanto en tacto como en sonido.

Unas cuerdas francamente únicas
