These tuners went on to Eastman ES175. They are really superb. With their dark, almost black metallic look, they are elegant and very attractive indeed…… Most impressive though, the very precise 1:21 gearing makes for super accurate tuning. They are well engineered and were a breeze to fit.
I would certainly buy again.

Auf allen meinen Gitarren habe ich die Gotoh 510-Mechaniken mit 1:21-Übersetzung im Einsatz (in unterschiedlichen Farben usw.) Der Unterschied ist gefühlt gewaltig auch gegenüber anständigen Standard-Mechaniken.

Diese habe ich auf einer Epiphone Jazz-Gitarre verbaut; passen optisch gut, Bohrlöcher der Halteschrauben passen genau, die Mechaniken selbst ohnehin. Das Stimmen geht deutlich besser mit der feineren Übersetzung und das Spiel ist quasi nicht vorhanden. Bei den anderen Gitarren (auf denen ich schon lange Gotoh 510 1:21 spiele) ist auch die Langlebigkeit sehr gut. Hatte nie den Eindruck, nachfetten zu müssen.

Für mich hat sich das Upgrade gelohnt. – Ich kann sie Gotoh 510 1:21 sehr weiter empfehlen.
