Fine nut, but needs fixing

This is a good quality nut, with notches perfectly suited to the thicker flatwound strings that I wanted to put on my Kala Journeyman U-bass. Unfortunately, the nut was not so perfectly suited to the U-bass itself, and required filing and sanding to get it to fit into the relevant slot on the neck. However, now it's done I am very happy and the U-bass sounds great.

Die Wahl für Galli/Kala U-Bass Flatwounds

Ich bestellte mir diese Nut, da ich bei meinem Kala Journeyman U-Bass von den Stock-Roundwounds auf die Galli Kala Flatwounds gewechselt bin. Da die E-Saite der Flats eine DIcke von 0.130 hat, ist hier entweder etwas Feilen beim Nutslot vom Original nötig oder man bestellt sich diese Nut, die natürlich perfekt passt.
Meine Empfehlung.

J'ai acheté ce sillet pour remplacer celui d'une minie-basse "Dearmond Ashbory". Je savais qu'il était aux bonnes cotes en terme de largeur, qu'il serait parfaitement adapté aux cordes commandées en parallèle (Aquila U-bass Thundergut) mais que j'aurais à jouer de la lime/dremel pour l'adapter en épaisseur et et en hauteur. Le matériau de ce sillet est vraiment étonnant ... à la fois très résistant mais mais aussi plutôt facilement "travaillable" à la lime plate et/ou la "Dremel". Après quelques découpes dans l'épaisseur puis un ajustement global de la hauteur (et quand même quelques heures de boulot pour arriver à quelque chose de quasi parfait), le sillet est en place et rempli parfaitement son rôle ... J'ai gagné un temps fou par rapport à une fabrication de A à Z et je n'ai pas eu à sculpter les passages de cordes ... Bref, je valide totalement la qualité de ce sillet !
