Just amazing

As the title says, this Electromatic is amazing.
Pros: The sound is just wonderful, the pick-ups sound like Gibson humbuckers made sweet love with Fender single coils, you get the best of both worlds. The cleans sound like someone is pouring sound made out of honey in your ears, overdrive sounds crispy and dirty at the same time with just the right amount of dark in there.
The feel and finish is as close to perfect as you get at this price point, even at a much higher price point you won't get a better build quality.

I have to detract one star from the total just because the set-up was not that good, it may be because there was no proper quality check out of the factory, which mind you it's not a China issue, I work at a multinational company and I know how QA sometimes likes to skip on actually checking outgoing products and just gives it the OK;
The neck pick-up was completely loose and sunken down in the body but a few turns of the screws and some measurements got it fixed like nothing was ever off, there's a bit of fret buzz which I'll fix by loosening the rod in the neck just a tiny bit.

Es geht ja doch günstig

Auf der Suche nach einer günstigen Gitarre, stolperte ich natürlich erst bei der Hauseigenen Marke vorbei. Die klangen alle nicht schlecht für den günstigen Preis, aber das Auge soll ja auch was geboten bekommen. Als ich dann diese Gitarre fand, verliebte ich mich sofort in die Optik und hatte schon Angst, ich bin zu oberflächlich und dann kaufe ich am Ende ein eigentlich schlechteres Produkt nur wegen der Optik.
Meine Zweifel wurden gleich beim Testen des Sounds weggeblasen.
Die Ohren und die Augen bekommen viel mehr geboten, als der Preis vermuten lässt.
Mein Fazit:
Ich kann diese Gitarre (bis jetzt) nur empfehlen.
Sowohl der richtig tolle Sound, die wundervolle Optik, die mehr als ordentliche Verarbeitung und der für diese Gitarre viel zu niedrig scheinender Preis, haben mich völlig überzeugt.
Diese Gitarre geht so schnell nicht zurück!

Das einzig mir einfallende Contra:
Der Gitarrenkoffer von Gretsch ist nicht so toll, da er komplett nach vorne unten ausbalanciert ist und die Verarbeitung auch lange nicht an die der Gitarre heranreicht. Das bedeutet, beim Tragen hält man die Gitarre sehr schräg.
Dummerweise passen die anderen günstigen und viel besseren hauseigenen Koffer nicht zur Gitarre.
Man muss also, außer man will eine Tasche, zum nicht so guten aber viel zu teuren Gretsch-Koffer greifen.

Gran guitarra pero ajustada en Luthier

La guitarra, estéticamente es preciosa. Ahora bien hay que decir que llegó con el selector de pastillas muy desajustado que a los pocos días se rompió del todo. Además llegó sin ajustar lo más mínimo, sin octavar y bastante desafinada. Me daba pereza devolverla a Thomann, así que después de llevarla a un Luthier quedó a mi gusto...

Gitara prezentuje się rewelacyjnie a wykończenie jest 10/10. Na minus duży problem z regulacją gitary. Mocno brzęczące struny. Słabej jakości pickup selektor-nie zawsze przełącza na przystawkę mostkową. Przed pierwszym graniem potrzebny dobry lutnik.
