A
My first acoustic bass guitar
Anemos 20.03.2022
The bass arrived in the scheduled time, packed appropriately and in an excellent condition. The gig bag was of high quality and with a warm light grey colour. The bass was of good build, nice wood and finish. The sound was clear and loud. The only negative aspect was that the A string was creaking, a problem that was fixed after a small setting. In conclusion, I would recommend this instrument to all.

Superb quality for the money
Tigermoth 03.09.2022
Having been looking for an acoustic basss for a long while, I bought this guitar untried via the internet based on the reviews. I should say I am primarily an acoustic guitar player, not a bassist, although I do own an electric bass.

When it arrived I have to say I was blown away by how good it is - and particularly for the price. I have tried other solid wood top / sides basses, at 3x the price I paid for this guitar, and the Guild is every bit as good. Build quality is excellent - it really does look well made, from the detail around the sound hole, the headstock, neck, frets… all 1st class. The sound is a clear acoustic bass tone. I may change the strings to black nylon wound and I reckon they would be pretty amazing on this guitar (probably a double bass type sound). The electronics are also good - and the guitar has a nice tone plugged in (a very loud signal too!). I am very very pleased with this guitar. I would thoroughly recommend.

AS
Fantastic bass
Aussie Steve 12.04.2022
In Australia it is next to impossible to find an all solid timber acoustic bass. I ordered this as a cart filler with some pro audio gear. I was absolutely blown away by the quality. Everything about this bass is perfect from the finish to the playability. I have no hesitation in recommending this to any bassist looking for an acoustic option.

I have had some people comment that it needs a cutaway. The problem with a cutaway is that it reduces the bass which kind of defeats the purposes. This model is perfect as it is.

v
beautiful acoustic bass
vanmaartens 24.11.2021
After some time of use (solid wood needs some time to open up) it's sound magnificently. Nice quality, great sound, faultless construction....
The only downside tis the "made in china" tag... but the only one made in US is the Martin....$$$
