Durable&good sounding solid guitar.

I'm no expert on guitars, but you can't go wrong with this one for a solid wood guitar at this price. I also sometimes play pretty hard and this thing can take it.

Thank you team Thomann, i am very satisfied! =)

Gutes Instrument

Gran guitarra para su precio / Great guitar for the price
Charlotillo 11.07.2022

I was loooking for my first 12 string guitar, so didn't want it to be neither a low budget nor a very expensive instrument. Once a took some time looking for information about it, I finally chose this model by Guild. It arrived in perfect condition and looked really gorgeous. It is a pretty good detail that a case (a good sturdy back-pack type) is included. The sound really lived up to my expectations: I was looking for the rich jingle-jangle sound of classic folk-rock (Byrds, Tom Petty, ...). The guitar (being a 12 string) is not as hard to play as I expected it to be, only the action is just a bit too high for me. Anyway nothing that cannot be solved with a little adjustment. To sum up, a good purchase.

Guild D-1212

I've wanted a Guild twelve-string since I got my six-string Guild D-52 in 1994 and have been looking for one within my budget for a long time. I also prefer dreadnoughts over jumbos so this was a perfect finding.

I have never owned an all mahogany guitar before, but have tried them and decided they sound ok. This model sounds just as good as the spruce top guitars and the construction is as sturdy as you expect from a Guild.

When it arrived the action was too low, in fact so low the treble strings touched the frets from the eighth fret. This was a disapointment and I considered sending it back. Then I realised the guitar had been stored for some time in a dry place which had caused the top along with the bridge to sink. So with a shim under the saddle and a humidifier inside for a couple of days things got better.

I would have preferred the guitar being perfect on arrival of course, but I don't mind tampering a bit with the instruments myself in my wood shop.

I play this guitar nearly everyday and it has the perfect jingle-jangle sound you expect from a Guild twelve string. I can not wait to begin recording with it.
