Amazing clean sound

This is my first semi hollow so I dont have a lot of comparison, I was first looking at the Hagstrom Alvar but then the look of the 67 Viking caught my eye,
I wanted something very different than my main main solid body equipped with humbuckers, so this semi hollow with mini humbuckers seemed like a good idea. I was not able to find one in any shop so I had to order it without trying it.

When I received it and opened the box, the first impression was "wow it's so classy" with this nice red and golden finish,

I started strumming unplugged and it's louder than one of my acoustic guitar ! Then I plugged it in my amp, the clean sound is so good with a lost of sustain, I have a preference for the neck and middle position, when you add some gain it's getting very bluesy, I have tried high distortion just for fun and it can handle it,
The neck is very easy to play, of course until the 17th fret where it meets the body,

Pros :

-The look !
-Clean sound and sustain
-The neck
-Overall finition

Cons :

-The Hagstrom logo on the tailpiece fell off I had to re glue it
-Maybe not a case but at least a gigbag would have been nice for this price
